Join us as we spend five days and six nights in the Santa Fe and Albuquerque area of New Mexico. This landscape is abundant with petroglyphs, those powerful cultural symbols on rock faces, from “those who came before”, dating from Archaic through Historic times. 

We will have private guided tours, exploring several petroglyph-rich locations each of four days. Snacks and water will be supplied daily for all the site excursions. The fifth day ties it all together, with an understanding of the people who created the petroglyphs, as we hear from their descendants, the current Puebloans.

The hikes are short, but can be moderately steep, so sturdy shoes and hiking poles are recommended.  Bring a hat, sunscreen and whatever else helps you stay comfortable and healthy.
